10 day trip to Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, and Suzhou
Objectives:

To help Texas companies explore business relationships
with commercial partners in these fast growing cities.

Ceremony.

Over 800,000 people from home and
abroad flocked to the spot at the 4th session last year. Over 800
contracts were signed during this event in 2001, involving a total volume of
business of US$ 7.9 billion, an increase of 31.52 percent over that of the 3rd
session in 2000. Delegation members will have business meetings, and exhibitors
will have the opportunity to promote their products to at least 2,000 companies
from 45 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the
central government in China.

Stroll
to Tiananmen Square, known as the Gate of Heavenly Peace, which is renowned for
the many historic events that took place there. The next stop is the Forbidden
City, the largest imperial palace ever built in the world

53 state-level high-tech industrial development zones, which developed 2,800

Xian, the cradle of Chinese
civilization, was the state capital for 73 emperors spanning 11 dynasties for
1,100 years dating from 4000 BC. Full day
excursion to the Terra Cotta Warriors
-- one part of the tomb of first Emperor of China, Qinshihuang, who was
also the initiator of the Great Wall. For dinner, feast on numerous varieties
of dumplings.
