Austin, TX - Glenn Hegar, Republican candidate for Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, announced today that he has been endorsed by the Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC). This committee is affiliated with Concerned Women for America, a national pro-life and pro-family organization which is the nation's largest public policy women's organization. CWA boasts more than 500,000 members nationwide, with 20,000 of those members living in Texas.
Michelle Smith, State Director of Concerned Women for America of Texas, stated, "Glenn Hegar has a proven record of standing on conservative principle and fighting to defend family values," Smith said. "Glenn has stood shoulder to shoulder with CWA fighting for our issues at every front. In my time working with him at the legislature he has exhibited exceptional character and integrity."
