Asian & International Houstonians are Under Counted!

WHAT: 2010 CENSUS Asian / International Community Initiative

As a key Community Leader, you are needed at this important meeting.

We need your ideas and guidance to ensure a Complete Count of our
Asian & International communities in Houston¡¯s 2010 US Census.
Asian & International Houstonians were undercounted by more than
50% in the 2000 US Census. With your help and expertise, Houston¡¯s Census count of Our Communities can be accurate in 2010. The 2010 Census will arrive in the mail in mid March.

Our task, as Community Leaders, is to ensure Public Awareness and
Motivate Response to the US Census.

If Our Communities are not counted accurately, we lose our Full Fair Share of our own federal tax dollars returned to our City to fund critical services for our families, our children, our elderly, our environment, our transportation systems, our health services and much, much more!

Private Sector Initiatives in Economic Development and Investment Funding are planned on the basis of our Census population count! More jobs and more economic opportunity for OUR communities depend on a Complete Count of ALL Houstonians in the 2010 Census!
Please make sure you / a representative from your organization attends this meeting. We have light refreshments by Tan Tan Restaurants. We have 9 WEEKS to ensure Awareness and Response for our 2010 Census.
