Miss Julia (Jiali) Zhu is among the most dedicated, talented, determined singers whom I have had the pleasure to encounter in my professional life. An extremely quick study, she continually challenges herself to hone her skills in language, vocal technique, and repertoire knowledge.
On a very short notice, she has worked assiduously and tirelessly to present a diverse, challenging, and entertaining program.
I am thrilled at the prospect of her contribution in her coming career as an international artist, and look forward eagerly to tracking her assured success, and the development of her prodigious talent.

Remark for Miss Julia Zhu's Solo Concert
Jin Tie Lin
As Miss Julia Zhu's vocal instructor for her Master Degree, I am very pleased that Julia Zhu will give her solo concerts in America and China respectively.
Ms. Julia Zhu studied Chinese national music for her Bachelor Degree at Shenyang Conservatory of Music. After graduation there, she has been enrolled to study for her Master Degree of Art at China Conservatory of Music. While studying the vocal skills of Chinese National Music, she has also studied western vocal skills. After three years of training and performing, she made a rapid and noticeable progress, developing gradually her distinctive style of singing, combining all features such as scientific, Chinese traditional, artistic and popular vocal skills into her performance.
Miss Julia Zhu's performing is a successful practice of combining of western and eastern vocal skills in a creative way.
At the beginning of a new year, everything is fresh and exciting. Ms. Julia Zhu's solo concert to be held in the spring of 2007, signaling rapid development of Chinese Traditional vocal art and bright prospect of Chinese traditional vocal art entering global vocal community. I wish a success to Ms. Julia Zhu's solo concert of Sino-US Friendship; and I believe that Chinese national vocal art will develop rapidly in the 21 century; Julia will make her contribution to the worldwide harmony, singing for friendships, and promoting advancement and development of the human being in the world.
