6:45 - 7:30 PM Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony"Asian Art Now: 2002" is a grand exhibition of over 25 contemporary Asian Artists. Featured in the exhibition are works on canvas, sculptures and ceramics from well known artists from Japan, Thailand, Mongolia and Bangladesh.
Join Mr. Kunio Ishida, Deputy Consul General of Japan in extending a warm welcome to Ms. Etsuko Abe, President of the Asian Cultural Exchange of Japan and the artist. The traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony will be presented by the Urasenke Tea Ceremony of Houston.
The exhibition is coordinated and sponsored by Iklektik Designs. The reception will be held at Two Allen Center (1200 Smith Street), in the Main Lobby. Attendance is limited and reservations are required.
