The China International Fair for Investment &Trade (CIFIT) has been successfully held for 10 consecutive sessions. The 11th CIFIT is scheduled to be held on Sept.8-11, 2007 in Xiamen.

With the theme on ¡°Introducing FDI¡± and ¡°Going global¡± and aim of bilateral investment promotion, CIFIT, sponsored by Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.C, is the sole international investment promotion activity in China with the highest level and largest scale. Provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, as well as relevant state ministries, commissions, offices, bureaus, and national business associations have participated in organizing CIFIT, and their delegations will attend the fair as members.

The Matchmaking Symposiums for Investment and Trade is one of the key activities during CIFIT, of which 20,000 ¨Cplus investment projects from across China and nearly 2,000 investment promotion projects from various countries and regions in the world are meticulously sifted for business people attending CIFIT. Such projects have covered various hot investment sectors with good investment prospects and return. The Matchmaking Symposiums have been held for 4 sessions successfully during CIFIT, boasting thousands of investors from dozens of countries (regions) each year, such as Sequoia Capital¡¢Baring Private Equity¡¢IDG Fund¡¢Prax Capital etc. Over last four years, the Matchmaking Symposiums have witnessed the signing of over 10 billion USD worth of contractual sum in investment, ensuring an ideal platform for China-bound investments and investment abroad by Chinese enterprises. Meanwhile, it also furnishes a channel for ¡°Third Countries/regions¡± to ¡°Third Countries/regions¡± investments.
