Dear Executives and Friends,
Since China carried out the
market economy policy in 1978, the
Chinese economy has been increasing so fast that it attracts worldwide attention. For more than twenty years, the average
annual GDP of China has increased at a rate of 10% each year. With a
population of 1.3 billion and its fast economic growth, China has
become the world's focus of investment and trade, providing the world with unlimited business opportunities.
To the
business people in the world, China's incorporation into the global economy
provides them with a
historical opportunity of expanding their
businesses. China joined WTO in 2001 and, China’s entry into the WTO will spark $56 billion in business. Local companies want a piece of the
action.
In the years of 2001 and 2002, “The North America-China Exchange
Center” held “The North America-China Business Exchange Conference” in Washington,
D.C., New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Toronto. Under the precious assistance from the
U.S. Government, the
Chinese Embassy in the U.S., and the active involvement of the high-status and
influential members of the Delegations from the various parts
of China
together with those business leaders in North America, our Conference was a tremendous and remarkable
success. The 2000 annual
conference brought more than 70 representatives from 8 Chinese
provinces and
more than 750 North American participants.
As for the 2001 annual Conference, the Chinese
Delegation was
consisting of more than 100 representatives from 10 provinces and more than
2450 overseas Chinese-Americans and business leaders attending the business
exchange forum. Since then we have been receiving
magnificent feedback from the people both in the U.S. and China who attended
the Conferences.
Because the previous 2
annual conferences were exceptionally successful, motivating, and valuable, we,
“The North
America - China Exchange Center”, are holding the 2000
Spring Business Exchange Conference from May 29, 2002 through June 9, 2002. During this period of time,
we will hold FIVE business conferences in San Francisco,
Washington D.C., New York City, Los Angeles and Toronto correspondingly. It would mean a great deal to us to
have those North-America business leaders, who are interested in
expanding business in China, join with us and, we would be very
happy to provide
any additional information.
The
agenda of the 2002 Spring Conference will consist of presentations of the investment
opportunities and policies in China, and furthermore, the Delegation
will hold discussions on the various and fascinating topics such as:
1)
Human
Resources and Business Consulting;
2)
Product
promotion and foreign trade; and,
3)
Urging
business leaders and business enterprises to invest in China; etc.
If you would like to learn
more information about the incoming Business Exchange Forum, please do not hesitate to
contact us Tel: (703) 288-1828; Fax: (703) 288-1829; E-mail:
NACenter@aol.com, and Website: www.NACenter.org.
Very truly yours,
The Organizing Committee
2002 North America -
China Business
Exchange Conference
